The Scientific and Innovative Culture Unit is part of the Network of Scientific Culture and Innovation Units (UCC+i) accredited by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT). Its actions are aimed at transferring knowledge generated in research centres, universities and other institutions to the public, representing a key service to improve and increase training, culture and scientific knowledge in the population. This task of is great importance to promote scientific culture and innovation both in society and in the productive sector.
